The Reserve Repack Ritual
Every six months, every reserve, every pilot in the room. No exceptions, no shortcuts.

Twice a year the AlpineSky base at Interlaken clears its main hall, lays out sail cloth on twelve long tables, and every active pilot repacks their reserve under the eye of a certified rigger. The ritual is not administrative — it is cultural. A reserve you have packed with your own hands, in the presence of your colleagues, is a reserve you trust in the two seconds you have to pull it. We keep paper logs alongside the digital ones. Signatures and dates in ink. If the day ever comes when the reserve is needed, the pilot should be able to picture the exact table where it was folded.
