Data privacy statement.

This page is maintained by SkyAlpine Agency GmbH to explain how we handle personal data on alpinesky.com in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP, in force since 1 September 2023). It is informational and does not create a certification or independent audit.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for personal data processed via this website is:

SkyAlpine Agency GmbH, Europaallee 41, 8004 Zürich, Switzerland. Email: dataprivacy@alpinesky.com.

SkyAlpine Agency GmbH operates the AlpineSky brand.

2. Legal basis

We process personal data in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP / nDSG). Where visitors from the European Economic Area interact with our site, we also observe the principles of the GDPR to the extent applicable.

Processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating the website, the performance of pre-contractual and contractual steps when you request a booking, and legal obligations (e.g. accounting).

3. Data we process

We limit collection to what is necessary for each purpose:

  • Server / hosting logs: IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, referrer. Used for security, abuse prevention and technical operation.
  • Booking enquiries: name, email, phone, activity and date selected, plus any message you send us. Used solely to answer the enquiry and prepare the flight.
  • Email correspondence: content and metadata of messages you send to us at dataprivacy@alpinesky.com or other addresses under alpinesky.com.

4. Cookies and tracking

This website does not currently set analytics, marketing or profiling cookies, and does not embed third-party tracking pixels. See our Cookie Notice for details on the strictly necessary technical storage that may occur.

5. Recipients and subprocessors

We disclose personal data only to processors that support the operation of this site, under written instructions and appropriate safeguards:

  • Lovable Cloud (hosting and content delivery, running on Cloudflare infrastructure). Data may transit and be cached in Cloudflare edge locations globally, including within the EU.

6. International transfers

Because our hosting provider operates a global content-delivery network, personal data (such as your IP address) may be transferred outside Switzerland or the EEA. Transfers rely on the safeguards offered by the recipient (including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable) and are limited to what is necessary to deliver the site.

7. Retention

Server logs are retained for a short technical period and then deleted or aggregated. Booking correspondence is kept for the duration of the customer relationship plus the retention periods required by Swiss commercial and tax law (typically 10 years for accounting records).

8. Your rights

Under the revFADP you may request information about the personal data we hold about you, ask for correction or deletion, object to certain processing, and — where applicable — request data portability.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at dataprivacy@alpinesky.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB) in Bern.

9. Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including transport encryption (HTTPS) and access controls at our hosting provider. No electronic transmission or storage is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

We may update this statement to reflect changes in our processing or in the law. The date below indicates the latest revision.
